Museum Festival

  • 10 am to 7 pm „Beautiful scary stories“: Picture sheets showing murder or a sensational event which were used by street ballad singers. From Lielo und Eugen Eder, Town Hall (Marktplatz 1-5)
  • 11 am to 10 pm Museum of Elztal is opened
  • 11 am to 4 pm   Programme in the Museum of Elztal with food and drink
  • 11 am to 5 pm Open-door Day  Raphael Lüthi: „Fine Art Restorations“ (Hauptstraße 10, Waldkirch-Kollnau)
  • 2 pm to  4 pm  Special Exhibition „200 Years Andreas Ruth – organ builder of Waldkirch“, Elztalmuseum
  • 4:30 to 10 pm Programme and traditional museum festival ("Museumshock")  in front of the Museum of Elztal with food and drink (from 2 pm)  by "Schwarzenberger Herolde"
  • 11 am Lecture and auditions with Johann Gebert at the „De Poppenspaeler“, Museum of Elztal
  • 12 am to 4 pm   Concert of "Great Organ à la carte" in the vaulted cellar of the Museum of Elztal (Kirchplatz 14) with food and drink, moderated by Henning Ballmann
  • 2 am to 4 pm Special Exhibition „200 Years Andreas Ruth – organ builder of Waldkirch“, Museum of Elztal
  • 4:30 pm The „Small Craftsmen“ from Kindergarten St. Vinzenz present and build an organ, Museum of Elztal
  • 5 pm Opening of the Organ Festival in front of the Museum of Elztal by mayor Roman Götzmann. Programme in front of the Museum of Elztal (Kirchplatz 14). Traditional museum festival ("Museumshock")
  • 5.15 pm „Flic & Flic“ (Jean-Yves Dousset and Matthieu Pallas) present French chansons and manufacture a paper silhouette of Mayor Roman Götzmann
  • 6 pm Opening of Town Festival, Damenstraße

The World as Guest in Waldkirch

  • 5: 45 pm „Organilleros & Chinchineros" from Chile and other South American organ players, Elztalmuseum
  • 6:30 pm Dorothea Walther from Switzerland says „Adjöh“, Museum of Elztal
  • 7 pm Japanese organ sounds with Shibaraku Linda Asakusa, Museum of Elztal
  • 7:30 pm “Organo Caribe” with caribbean sounds and in interaction wiht the „Klamauk”-Organ, Museum of Elztal
  • 8 pm „Flic & Flic“ from France play French chansons, Museum of Elztal
  • 8:30 pm The “Customs and Homeland Club ZweiTälerLand” dances to the sound of organs and singing, Museum of Elztal
  • 9 pm Street ballad singers (“Moritaten”- and “Bänkelsänger”) in front of the Museum of Elztal
